Monitoring atmospheric emissions for the SOYO 1 project.
03.06.2015
General Electric Belfort has awarded Secauto the contract to design and build the emissions measurement cabinets (CEMs) for 4 fuel-oil and gas turbines to be installed in Angola.
The analyzers measuring oxygen, the sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide and nitrogen will be incorporated into 4 shelters. They make it possible to carry out emission measurements when power is generated by the turbines, checking the atmospheric gas emissions in order to meet environmental standards.
In addition, the subsidiary company will provide 4 dust analyzers and a data acquisition system. The latter, entirely developed by Secauto, will allow automated emissions reports intended for environmental agencies.
Secauto has already carried out several projects of the same type for General Electric in France and aborad, in particular in Algeria, Romania, Belgium, Spain.
