Secauto carries out its fourth technical shutdown for the Adisseo group

18.07.2017

As a partner providing Adisseo with maintenance services since 2009, Secauto, carried out for the fourth time, the technical shutdown of its plants in Roches-de-Condrieu and Roussillon (located in the Isère region of France).
The Adisseo group’s chemical synthesis units specialize in animal nutrition. They produce nutritional additives, such as vitamins and amino acids, for the BlueStar group, of which Adisseo is a subsidiary.

In order to successfully carry out this technical shutdown, Secauto mobilised a sizeable workforce of 60 technicians, responsible for performing maintenance on electrical installations, instrumentation and industrial analysis equipment.
Our employees worked throughout the month of April 2017 to ensure that this technical shutdown was a success and that was the case as all the facilities were restarted within the prescribed times. No accidents occurred during the 130,000 hours of work done by the hundred or so companies that were involved during this shutdown.
Secauto's exemplary safety record was rewarded, as our teams won two awards at the Safety Challenge for External Companies.

The teams on the Roussillon site took second place on the podium, while those at Saint-Clair-du-Rhône came in third.
