Further success in the offshore industry

The South Korean manufacturer SAMSUNG Heavy Industries has awarded Secauto the order to equip a complete laboratory to perform petroleum tests for the new Total FPSO platform  in Nigeria, i.e. Egina.

Secauto have been awarded this contract thanks to their know-how and many projects already carried out in this field (Gyrassol, Dalia and CLOV projects in Angola, USAN in Nigeria).

The future FPSO will be installed 130 km off the coast of Nigeria, in offshore waters at a depth of 1,750 metres.
It will be connected to 44 wells to produce 200,000 barrels of oil a day and will have a storage capacity of 2.3 million barrels.
It is due to come into production in 2017.
